The 7-member APCHA Board of Directors is appointed to serve as an advisory and policy board to the Aspen City Council and the Board of County Commissioners on all matters relating to affordable workforce housing in their respective jurisdictions.
The Aspen/Pitkin County Housing Authority (APCHA) program began in the late 1970s when concerned members of the Pitkin County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) and Aspen City Council were noticing the demolition of homes and complexes for redevelopment purposes.
Provide affordable rental and ownership housing opportunities to qualified workers in Aspen and Pitkin County who contribute to the success of our local community and economy.
